Principals Win CORFAC International Awards
for Cross Market Transactions
Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International is pleased to announce that two of its Principals, Steven H. Podolsky, SIOR and Steven H. Tick, SIOR, won 2014 CORSTAR Awards for referral transactions that they participated in during the year.
Mr. Tick won the award for the purchase of 40 acres of vacant land in Plainfield, Indiana. The assignment was referred to him by Lester Osborn, SIOR, Piedmont Properties CORFAC International. The purchase was conducted on behalf of a confidential client. Messrs. Tick and Osborn shared the award for the top land sale by both size and dollar volume.
Mr. Podolsky won the award for top industrial transaction by size for the 500,000 square foot lease in Memphis, Tennessee that he referred to G. Treat Macdonald, SIOR, Crump Commercial CORFAC International, on behalf of New Breed Logistics, Inc. New Breed, a third party logistics company, was the tenant in this transaction.
This is the fourth time in the last five years that Mr. Podolsky has won this particular award for referrals that he made on behalf of his clients New Breed Logistics (2010, 2012 and 2014) and McMaster-Carr Supply Company (2013). In addition, Mr. Podolsky also won the award in 2013 for the top land referral transaction by both size and dollar value for the 112-acre, $7.6 million acquisition by McMaster-Carr Supply Company in Douglas, Georgia. The cooperating broker for that transaction was Sim Doughtie, SIOR, King Industrial Realty CORFAC International.
