Podolsky|Circle Adds Brokers and Analyst To Serve Expanding Needs

Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International has announced the addition of two new brokers and an analyst to the firm, to serve the expanding needs of clients as the economy continues to move beyond its most challenging days.

Tom Callahan has rejoined Podolsky|Circle as a Senior Vice President in the firm’s Brokerage Division. He specializes in both building and tenant representation. During the course of his 25-year career in commercial real estate, Callahan has completed over 1,100 lease and sale transactions of office, retail and industrial properties, representing independent, entrepreneurial, corporate and institutional clients.

Clients Callahan has represented include AKZO Nobel, Allstate Insurance Company, Federal Bureau of Investigation, GE Capital, Nationwide insurance and Scottrade.

Callahan is an active member of a number of real estate and business related organizations including the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS® (NICAR) and the Greater O’Hare Regional Business Association (GOA).

Tim Olivos joined Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International as an Investment Analyst specializing in acquisitions and investment sales.

As part of Podolsky|Circle’s Investment Team, Olivos provides analysis of real estate investments for potential acquisitions and in the overall execution of acquisition and disposition transactions. He also collaborates on the preparation of loan packages and offering memoranda.

Prior to joining the firm, Olivos spent three years at Stifel Financial as a senior analyst in their real estate investment banking group. There he provided underwriting on debt, equity and preferred offerings and worked on advisory assignments including portfolio and company sales for public REITs. Olivos has worked with clients including Armada Hoffler Properties, Blackstone Group, CNL Healthcare Properties and Divco West Real Estate Investments.

Olivos graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2010, earning business degrees in Finance and International Business.

The appointment of Olivos follows the addition of Kyle McKechnie as an Associate in the firm’s Brokerage Division. Along with working on select building project assignments, McKechnie assists Corey B. Chase, a Podolsky|Circle Principal, with his tenant representation and municipal incentive practice.

McKechnie previously spent over 2 years working as an outside sales representative for W.W. Grainger in the downtown Chicago market. In his time with Grainger, McKechnie established himself as a top producer, surpassing company sales goals in back to back years. McKechnie managed over 200 clients for Grainger, consisting primarily of commercial and residential property management accounts. He negotiated deals with top Chicago institutions such as Sudler Property Management and both The School of the Art Institute and The Art Institute of Chicago.

McKechnie graduated from Northwestern University in 2010.
