Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International Acknowledged by Peers, Commercial Real Estate Industry and Local Business Community

Three principals of Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International and the firm itself have received multiple awards and recognition from various Commercial Real Estate organizations and a local Chicago area newspaper.

CoStar Awards

CoStar Group, commercial real estate’s leading internet provider of information, analytics and marketing services, recognized Podolsky|Circle’s leadership in Chicago with two 2013 Power Broker Awards.

  • For the second consecutive year, Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International was recognized as one of the Top Leasing Firms in the Chicago area with a 2013 Top Firm Award.
  • Corey B. Chase, Principal, was recognized as an industry leader with a Top Broker Award.  In 2013 Mr. Chase was responsible for over 850,000 square feet of lease transactions in the Chicago area representing longtime clients such as MV Transportation and 1-800-FLOWERS.

SIOR and CORFAC International Awards

The work of another Podolsky Circle principal, Steven H. Podolsky, SIOR, was acknowledged recently by two separate industry associations.

  • Both the national organization and the Chicago Chapter of SIOR (Society of Office and Industrial Realtors) presented Mr. Podolsky with Professional Achievement Awards.  The national award for the Largest Dollar Volume Transaction was presented to Mr. Podolsky at the Spring International Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The award was for representing the buyer in the $51 million purchase of a 1,066,980 square foot, 8-building industrial portfolio in Belvidere, IL.  The buyer, a Boston-based real estate investment company, was co-represented by Mr. Podolsky and Corey Chase, also a Podolsky|Circle principal.
    The SIOR Chicago Chapter award for the Largest Industrial Transaction of the year was presented to Mr. Podolsky for his referral of a leasing assignment to Treat MacDonald, SIOR, CCIM, Crump Commercial, LLC/CORFAC International (based in Memphis, TN) who subsequently secured a 500,000-square-foot industrial facility on behalf of Mr. Podolsky’s longtime client New Breed Logistics in Memphis, TN.
    • The 2013 CORFAC International awards for membership referral transactions within the CORFAC network were announced at the organization’s Spring Conference in San Francisco, California.  Mr. Podolsky won two awards based upon his strong relationships with a pair of longtime clients.  He was awarded the Top Land Deal by Size and Dollar Volume for referring a land sale requirement to Sim Doughtie, SIOR, CCIM, MCR and Al McConkey Jr., SIOR, both with King Industrial Realty/CORFAC International (based in Atlanta, GA) who subsequently represented McMaster-Carr Supply Co. in the acquisition of 112 acres of land at Sweetwater Creek in Douglasville, GA for $7.6 million.
      Mr. Podolsky’s second CORFAC award, Top Industrial Transaction by Size, was bestowed for the above-mentioned referral of New Breed Logistics in Memphis, TN.

    Mr. Podolsky is a founding member of CORFAC, which now has 65 offices in North America and, in association with its global affiliates and its membership in FIABCI (the International Real Estate Federation), has market reach in 60 countries worldwide.

    Daily Herald Acknowledges Alissa Adler

    Podolsky|Circle principal Alissa Adler was named one of the Daily Herald Business Ledger’s 2013 Influential Women in Business.  The awards program recognizes outstanding women executives who excel in business, civic and personal areas.  Throughout her 23 year career in commercial real estate, Ms. Adler has been involved in numerous aspects of the industry.

    In 2013, Ms. Adler spearheaded the merger of Circle Realty Advisors, the firm she’d established and served as President for eight years, with Podolsky Northstar Realty Partners to form Podolsky|Circle.  As a principal at Podolsky|Circle, she continues to be a key decision maker and participant in the firm’s investment, asset management and brokerage services.

    In addition to participating on committees and boards for multiple industry organizations, Ms. Adler donates her time to various community organizations such as the Kildeer Architectural Committee and Save-A-Pet, a not-for-profit animal charity.
