Podolsky Circle Represents MedEx Ambulance Service in Long-Term Lease Renewal
Podolsky Circle CORFAC International is pleased to announce that it is has successfully advised and represented MedEx Ambulance Service in a 17,080 square foot, long-term lease renewal at 1001 S. Des Plaines Street in Chicago.
Founded in 1998, MedEx is a premier ambulance transportation provider for the Chicagoland area. A certified Women Business Enterprise, MedEx provides the greatest range of ambulance services and capabilities in the Chicagoland area, including all levels of ground ambulance service, a state-of-the-art critical care program and air ambulance services through an alliance with Air Methods, America’s largest and most experienced air medical operator in the country. MedEx has grown steadily since its inception 21 years ago, and today provides medical transportation services to hundreds of healthcare facilities throughout the Chicagoland area. In 2018, MedEx President and CEO, Lauren Rubinson, was named one of Chicago’s Notable Women in Healthcare by Crain’s Chicago Business.
Podolsky Principals John Homsher, CCIM, and Steven Tick, SIOR, represented MedEx in its renewal at 1001 S. Des Plaines Street, while Jeff Gerling of Paine Wetzel Commercial Real Estate represented ownership, JP Morgan Chase Trustee, in the transaction.

1001 S. Des Plaines Street is a 40,000 square foot, two-tenant industrial building. The property allows for interior vehicle storage, drive-through capabilities and a secure outdoor parking area for MedEx vehicles.
